Finally, the guide will introduce you to the Gipsoteca Bartolini, the plaster casts of the Reclining Venus, Arnolfo, Brunelleschi and Lorenzo Monaco, Documentation centre on the first floor.

Cupola del Brunelleschi- After seeing the Duomo from all sides and visiting the cathedral inside, all you need to do to complete the experience is a climb to the top of the cupola! The exterior view of the Cupola is a showstopper, but the only way to see the inside of the dome up close and enjoy the extraordinary sight of Florence is to climb its 463 steps (there is no elevator) Your guide will talk you through how the Cupola was designed and built by Filippo Brunelleschi, who won the competition for its commission in 1418. The way up (and down) are tight corridors like the workmen who built the cathedral for maintenance. They were never thought of as being open to the public. On the dome's interior, you can admire Giorgio Vasari's frescoes of the Last Judgement (1572-9) up close with an interesting explanation of the frescoes from your guide on your way up to the top.

Galleria Degli Uffizi- The guide will start off with a bit of history of the Uffizi Gallery, which used to house the administrative and legal offices before it became a gallery and information about the Medici as the majority of artistic masterpieces in Florence and in the Uffizi are their own collection as well as the support provided by the Medici for arts and artists of past centuries. After entering, the guide will show you the portrait of Anna Maria Luisa de Medici, the last surviving member of the Medici responsible for donating all of the family's collections to the city. As you climb the grand staircase to the top floor, where the museum collections begin, the guide will explain the museum's architecture and fascinate you with the secrets, legends and other exciting bits of information behind the many paintings on display in this gallery.

The first hall contains works by Giotto, Cimabue, and Duccio di Buoninsegna. You'll see and learn about the paintings of Venus de Milo by Botticelli and the Annunciation by Leonardo da Vinci and the only panel painting in the world by Michelangelo from the guide. Along with the local and art expert guide, discover the Uffizi and its masterpieces, an exciting and fun journey where the artists and their paintings are brought to life by the guide. Knowing some of the who, what, and why will enrich the visit to the museum. The tour takes about two hours, the perfect amount to see the highlights inside the museum without feeling overwhelmed. You can also return to anything you might want to see again after the tour ends.

Walking Tour- From the point of the meeting, the guide will give you an insight of the history of this Renaissance city and how this incredible cultural movement of the Renaissance transformed not only Florence but eventually the rest of Europe.
