Itinerary

Day 1 - FIRENZE
Arrival to Florence from your airport. Sightseeing in Firenze, free time and overnight stay in hotel.
Florence, the capital of Tuscany, hosts many masterpieces of Renaissance art and architecture. One of the most famous places is the Duomo, the cathedral with a tiled dome designed by Brunelleschi and Giotto's bell tower. The Accademia Gallery exhibits Michelangelo's David sculpture while in the Uffizi Gallery Botticelli's Birth of Venus and Leonardo da Vinci's Annunciation are found.
Day 2 - PISA
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Pisa and sightseeing tour. Visit Leaning Tower, Piazza dei Miracoli, Duomo di Pisa, Battistero and Campo Santo. Lunch at restaurant and overnight stay in hotel.
Pisa is an Italian city in Tuscany best known for its famous leaning tower. Already off the table when it was completed in 1372, the 56 m high white marble cylinder is nothing but the bell tower of the marble Romanesque cathedral that stands next to it, in Piazza dei Miracoli. The same square hosts the monumental Camposanto and the Baptistery, where every day non-professional singers test themselves with its famous acoustics.
Day 3 - SANTA CATERINA DEL SASSO and LAGO MAGGIORE
Breakfast at hotel, proceed to Santa Caterina del Sasso and Lago Maggiore. Sightseeing in Eremo Santa Caterina del Sasso and overnight stay.
Lake Maggiore or Verbano is a pre-Alpine lake of fluvioglacial origin, the second largest in Italy. Its name "Maggiore" derives from the fact that it is the largest of the lakes in the area, but in reality it is the second in Italy in size.
Day 4 - GENOVA
Breakfast at hotel, road to Genova. Visit Genova Aquarium and Portofino Old Fishing Village. Overnight and stay in hotel.
Genova is a port city and is the capital of the Liguria region. It is known for its important role in maritime trade over many centuries. In the historic center is the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, in Romanesque style with a black and white striped facade and frescoed interiors. Narrow streets lead to monumental squares such as the Piazza de Ferrari, with the characteristic bronze fountain and the Carlo Felice opera house.
Day 5 - CINQUE TERRE
Breakfast in hotel. Road to Rome via Cinque Terre. Visit all villages of Cinque Terre, lunch and transfer to Rome. Overnight in Rome.
The Cinque Terre are ancient fishing villages located along the rugged Italian coast. Each of these villages is characterized by colorful houses and vineyards clinging to the steep terraces built on the coast. The ports are crowded with fishing boats and in the typical trattorias it is possible to try the seafood specialties, as well as the famous Ligurian condiment: the pesto. The Sentiero Azzurro, a hiking trail that stretches along the coast, connects the Cinque Terre with each other and offers splendid views of the sea.
Day 6 - ROME and VATICAN
Breakfast at hotel, visit to Vatican. Sightseeing in Rome with Colosseum, Roman Forum, Piazza Spagna, Piazza Venezia, Piazza Navona, Fontana di Trevi and Pantheon. Free time and overnight in Rome.
Rome's history spans 28 centuries. While Roman mythology dates the founding of Rome at around 753 BC, the site has been inhabited for much longer, making it one of the oldest continuously occupied sites in Europe.[6] The city's early population originated from a mix of Latins, Etruscans, and Sabines. Here, you can visit sites like Colosseum, Palatine Hill, Roman Forum, Phanteon and other marvelous memories of the Eternal City.
Day 7 - ROME
Breakfast at hotel, sightseeing in Rome and Villa d'Este. Lunch at restaurant. Drive to Naples and overnight stay in hotel.
A true Renaissance jewel, made even more striking by the masterpiece gardens in which it is immersed. Located a few kilometers from Rome, it shares the territory of Tivoli with Villa Adriana and competes with the Roman ruins for number of annual visitors. Villa d'Este is one of the Unesco World Heritage sites in Italy, and was built at the behest of Cardinal Ippolito II d'Este in 1550. The Cardinal, governor of Tivoli, wanted to build a dwelling that on one side recalled the splendor of the courts of Ferrara (it was son of Alfonso I and Lucrezia Borgia), on the other he equaled and evoked the splendor of Villa Adriana.
Day 8 - CAPRI ISLAND
Breakfast at hotel. Road to Capri Island with a full day tour. Sightseen in Capri and visit Blue Grotto. Lunch in restaurant and overnight in Naples.
Capri, the island in the Gulf of Naples, is famous for its steep terrain, exclusive hotels and shopping, which ranges from high fashion, limoncello and handcrafted leather sandals. One of the most popular natural sites is the Blue Grotto, a dark cavity where the sea water is tinged with electric blue thanks to the presence of an underground cave that filters sunlight. During the summer the spectacular coast of the island, full of inlets, attracts numerous yachts.
Day 9 - POMPEII and VESUVIUS
Breakfast at hotel. Sightseen in Pompeii Ruins. Lunch at restaurant, evening visit to Vesuvius Volcano. Overnight in Naples.
Pompeii is known for its ancient city buried in 79 AD from the eruption of Vesuvius. The ruins include the Villa dei Misteri with frescoes and the Roman amphitheater. In the city, the Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary has mosaics and a large dome. The Vesuvian Museum G.B. Alfano exhibits volcanic rocks and prints of historical eruptions.
Day 10 - AMALFI and SORRENTO
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Amalfi Coast and Sorrento. Lunch in Sorrento. Free time and overnight in Naples.
Sorrento is a coastal town in the Sorrento peninsula which is located in front of the Bay of Naples, in the south-western part of Italy. Built on the cliff that separates it from its crowded marina, Sorrento is famous for its view of the sea and Piazza Tasso, studded with coffee. The historic center is a maze of narrow streets where there is the church of San Francesco, a 14th century building with a quiet cloister.
Day 11 - NAPLES
Breakfast at hotel. Sightseen in Naples with Piazza del Plebiscito, Castel dell'Ovo, Spaccanapoli e Chiesa di San Gregorio Armeno and Tunnel Borbonico. Lunch at restaurant and transfer to Rome. Ovenight in Rome.
The city of Naples, in southern Italy, rises in the heart of the homonymous bay next to Mount Vesuvius, the active volcano still known today for having destroyed the ancient Roman city of Pompeii. Dating back to the second millennium BC, Naples has centuries of art and architecture behind it and its cathedral, the Duomo of San Gennaro, is rich in frescoes. The most interesting historical sites are the sumptuous Royal Palace and the Maschio Angioino, a building from the 13th century.
